The 24-hour presence of a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care completes our high-quality range of services. The permanent presence of anaesthetists and intensive care specialists guarantees competent pain therapy and care for our patients and enables acute surgical interventions of any kind if necessary.

The anaesthetists are responsible for providing information before each operation, answering all questions about anaesthesia and, last but not least, for monitoring our patients during surgery.

If patients require monitoring with special equipment after an operation or if this becomes necessary due to a sudden deterioration in their state of health, anaesthetists and intensive care nurses are available in our recovery room at all times. It is designed as an intensive monitoring unit with eleven positions with modern equipment to guarantee post-operative monitoring and pain therapy.
