The very first days after childbirth are for the family to enjoy. Right after being born, we put the baby on its mother’s chest. This first intimate contact is most important for mother and baby to develop an intense emotional bond. We do all we can for the wellbeing of your whole family and to give you time to relax and for each other. Paediatricians exame your newborn and answer all questions you might have. Of course, they are available for you also after discharge.
Our midwives take care of you around the clock in childbed
Mother and child effect peak performance during pregnancy and childbirth. Therefore, relaxing and recharging are most important. This needs undisturbed time to adapt to the new situation and each other. From breastfeeding advice to baby massages our midwives offer a range of additional services to help you during the first weeks after childbirth. And they offer valuable insights and practical advice to facilitate the start of this new life.
Learn to handle and care for your newborn
How do I hold my newborn correctly? How do I change diapers? What is important when nursing the navel? How often and how long should I bath my baby? Our team of paediatric nurses and midwives show you what is most important in your day to day life. By the way, fathers are highly welcome!

Paediatric examination of your newborn
Our Paediatricians examine your baby after childbirth and are available anytime for additional consultations and questions. Hip sonography and hearing tests are available directly in our hospital. This helps you to avoid waiting timers with your newborn in a doctor’s practice. If you wish, we are also available for you and your child after discharge.
In case of emergencies, our neonatal team is standing by 24/7.
